Round 17 of Betfred League One is here!
Will Goole Vikings make it five straight wins? Scott Taylor’s men are loving life in the third tier at present and will look to maintain their impressive momentum when they host Rochdale on Sunday.
It's an exciting one for the Vikings who are finally back at the Victoria Pleasure Ground following recent stadium redevelopments - and should expect a warm welcome from their supporters.
Both sides enter this fixture on the back of emphatic wins, although it is Rochdale who won their last encounter comfortably (50-6). Is it going to be a different story this time round?
A win for Goole would see them leapfrog the Hornets in the table, but a win for Rochdale means they can create distance between themselves and their opponents.
Which side will return to winning ways? There’s action at Cougar Park in Round 17 as Keighley welcome Whitehaven. Haven were victors in their reverse fixture.
Then, there’s a key tie between 3rd and 4th as Swinton and Midlands go head-to-head. Last time out saw a points fest over at the Alexander Stadium and a very tightly fought contest!
Late efforts from Matty Chrimes and Jon Luke Kirby would eventually put the game to bed for the Hurricanes (38-26), but can we expect the same entertainment at Heywood Road this weekend?
Then, it’s bottom versus top as Newcastle host North Wales. It’s the Crusaders who have won their last four meetings by comfortable margins.
